How do i get my lipstick vine to bloom?

The Lipstick Vine is not easy to grow under ordinary room conditions.Plant in loose, open fibrous potting soil. Misting is essential in spring and summer. In winter the plant must be allowed to rest with a temperature of about 60 degrees F and only little watering.Keep in bright light or slight shade, avoid direct sunshine. Water regularly from spring to fall always using lukewarm water. The Lipstick Vine blooms from late spring to midsummer. The Lipstick Vine is related to African violets.
