All my pumpkins are roting on the vine. the rest of my garden is doing great. does anyone have an answer .?

all the pumkkins get to about golf ball size then the just rot. what is the problem and the cure?

i read somewhere that when you star getting alittle size to the pumpkins you should set them on a piece of wood..flat stone or a brick to get the fruit off the ground which can cause rot....i haven't gotten fruit yet in mine but am planning on getting them off the soil

Reply:Well for one... All this rain we have been getting has really hurt all fruits n veggies.

You may put hay or straw on the ground and feed those little pups some milk.
Reply:i think you planted them too early. pumpkins should be ready by october meaning you plant mid june
