Can I use the peppers on the vine when they are wrinkled?

I am going to dehydrate the serranos and jalapenos that I grew. Some of the ones out on the plants are kind of shriveled. I'm wondering if they're ok to go ahead and dehydrate or not.

Take a peek inside of them. If the seeds still look nice and white they should be ok...... Otherwise toss 'em.

I eat raw serranos and jalepenos ALL the time. Sometimes the shriveled ones contain icky black seeds....They tase bad.

Be sure to check!
Reply:Many times they are like that when ripe...they're OK.
Reply:Unless they're otherwise blemished, they should be fine. Sounds like they're on there way to dehydration on there own. RScott
