Can you use any grapes on a vine to make wine in the uk??

You can make wine from any fruit. But be warned, you need a hell of a lot of grapes to make a gallon of wine, far easier to buy the concentrate. Used to make my own wine, but stopped because my wife kept drinking it.

Can you use any grapes on a vine to make wine in the uk??
Yes, assuming the "grapes" are fit for human consumption. Additionally you may want to confirm the composition of the grapes, to insure that they have sufficient sugar and acid to be able to produce wine. If not you can always add - what you are deficient in - including grape concentrate if necessary.
Reply:NO REASON WHY NOT .ESPECIALLY IF ITS BEEN A GOOD HOT SUMMER
Reply:you can make wine out of most things that are edible if it is fermented long enough!!!(mostly fruits but you can use t/bags,f-o/juice,etc.)

as for grapes grown in the uk if thats what your question is then yes!!!!!!

the uk is fast becoming a wine producing nation in it,s own right.

you do need a fair few vines though to make it worthwhile not just going to m%26amp;s and buying a £5.00 and then try to make it.

but your question is,not making any sense after reading it again.

any grape will make a wine no matter what country your in!!!!

any mixture of variety of grapes will make a wine!!!!

they don.t have to be on a vine!!! they just grow on a vine....

why not look in your local paper(evening or free)and they have societies that you can join and they will tell you all information needed.
Reply:there are a tiny number of uk vineyards...only one i know of is the three choirs vineyard near worcester (good restaurant too)
Reply:British wine is Rubbish, and it tastes Crap. This is because of our weather really. Can't you tell the differance between British wine, and Californian, or Hungarian, or south African. I can.!!
