Wishing to plant Trumpet and Cross Vine together below a masonry wall this spring.........?

can anyone please tell me how late I can usually get away with planting this in zone 6b and still have it climb 10 feet or so and bloom well its first season?



I understand that it grows quite quickly, but may not have the ability to plant this where I want until late April.

watch out for this plant they invade and are hard to eradicate.

the roots sucker and are a real problem.

check our cypress vine- you could plant the seeds at the end of the month and have a really good showing this year

which way does the wall face?
Reply:If you are planning to buy the plant at a nursery then it/they should grow quickly.



If you want to grow by seed then I would start in the house now. But by seed it will not grow to what size you want this year
