Is there a type of climbing vine who's roots are not invasive to water pipes?

Passion flower plant is a good one.

Try something like clematis vine. Or several to cover a larger area. the roots are shallow and not very invasive. The roots generally don't grow to a large diameter and are not very strong. They don't have the strength to separate a sewer line. Enjoy
Reply:if your thinking of broken pipes dont worry. it takes large, hard roots {trees} to break them, typically. of course just what kind of vine are you talking about? if it doesn't make a root any bigger than a mans thumb your safe
Reply:Water pipes sweat, all roots are attracted to water, find one with shallow root system.
