Can Campsis (trumpet vine) be grown indoors?

I've heard that it can grow 50 feet or more! If it can be grown indoors with luck, can it be pruned back without significantly affecting the health of the plant? Also, will it bloom as well as if you plant it outdoors?

Requires full sun, so I doubt it would grow indoors unless you put it in a sunny southern exposure. Most houseplants are shade plants in their natural state.

My grandmother did have some come up under her house, and grow up out of the floor furnace, but that probably doesn't count. It is quite annoying as an aggressive plant.
Reply:I have enver seen it grown indoors. It grows where I grew up which is hot and dry or cold and dry a lot of the time.Never in my life heave I heard of it being inside. Hope you find an answer that you feel right about.
Reply:probably could but I wouldn't advise it, you will end up with a mess e.g. dead leaves, flowers etc, also sap and stamen dropping, outdoors is best for climbers
