What is this vine?
A type of wild cucumber:

Reply:Looks like a type of grape vine - has there ever been any sort of fruit or berries on it?
Reply:It's a wild cucumber vine (I have it growing in my yard). It will get small yellow flowers and the develop an inedible cucumber looking fruit.
Reply:The vine in the picture though hard to be sure without being there looks like a species in the morning glory family, which could include several things. However it most likely is either what is called field bindweed or wild buckwheat or one of the other more common morning glories in the US. They are very difficult to control if ou are trying to control it in your landscape. Repeated spraying with roundup will eventually get it but you would have to be very careful not to get any spray mix on the other plants in your landscape. Pulling it up by hand is also and alternative even though this would take longer it may be a better solution considering where the vine was growing in the picture.
Reply:It could be wild grape, or clementis....possibly. It's not dangerous, though, so, if you fancy it, keep it. It's quite pretty.
Reply:looks like possibly a cucumber or bean vine
