I have a vine growing on my fence that is producing orange oval things. What could they be?

They are oval with indentions in them. Kind of look like a baby pepper. And the inside is bright red.

whatever they are they are probably only to be eaten by the birds. You can take a small branch to your local plant nursery and ask someone there. You can also scan and send or mail to your local Horticulturist Society or your County's Extension Service. Hopefully it's not one of those plants that have taken over and you can't get rid of.
Reply:they could be alien gestation pods.. DO NOT EAT THEM!

but they're probably not..
Reply:I would love to see a pic of it, if you have a digital camera you can use photobucket free to get a pic up.
