How will Trumpet or Cross Vine do on a 25 foot brick wall of a house?

someone said that it would damage the foundation with its massive root system, but I find that difficult to believe?

as well, what kinds of soil do they prefer anyone?

Thanks for your answers!

Trumpet vine is more destructive on building that have siding since they send out tendrils that can get under the siding and cause damage. I would think that is would work nicely on brick because it is much stronger. As for soil, trumpet vine does not care. It is a very invasive plant and will grow in pretty much any condition in any soil type.

Good Luck
Reply:Cross vine is better on brick.

I should think English is better than poxed French, eh?
Reply:They will only peirce foundation if crack already exist like any plant with deep roots
