What would be a good vine plant to put on a fence that borders the neighbors that I don't want to see?

i've never had any luck with vine plants. however, i've become a fan of 'marram grass' ('beach grass'). easy maintenance and it'll totally block your view!

good luck ;)

I would say honeysuckle, at least it would smell great.
Reply:Clematis is good.

unfortunately, in the winter, the neighbors will be in full view again. do you have room to plant evergreens that will always block the view?

Good luck.
Reply:I had a Blood Trumpet Vine, and it was green all year round and bloomed medium size flowers that looked like trumpets. It was way easy to take care of and I just let it grow and grow. It its an awesome vine because the foliage stayed pretty nice year round, and was low maintenance (I loved that) :)

PS I had a lot of hummingbirds that dug it too!

Heres a little info on it, I found for you.

heres a pic of the flower

Reply:A grape vine would be very nice, or some poison Ivy since you don't like them so much, maybe one of them will lean on it, lol!
Reply:If you put up a vine fence that will work fine untill the fall and then you have nothing. Put up Red Tip Photonias. I do not know where you live, here in Texas I did block my neighbors with them and every year with a little top triming they get thicker. Be patient and do not plant to close together maybe3-4 feet. Good Luck

Did I say the folige stays year around
Reply:For a quick spring/summer solution, try morning glories or trumpet vines. However, morning glories are very invasive.

If you want something that will block them all year around, try arbor vitae. They grow really fast and are evergreen.

I feel your pain. I live next to wretched people. So I planted morning glories and hummingbird vines on arbors to block the view.
Reply:a fast growing vine is silver lace vine.

Also you could use some clematis, honeysuckle

Ivy won't work because it need to stick not twine but another relatively quick %26amp; pretty but annual one is morning Glory
