Do you abide in the vine? Are you a branch producing fruit?

Jesus said that if you abide in Him and His Words abide in you, you shall ask what you will %26amp; it shall be done for you. John15.

Do you abide in the vine? Are you a branch producing fruit?
First of all I don't have enough room to write it all.

But you have to look at the context of what he was saying.

He(Jesus) is talking about fellowship.

When you do God's word(obey, faithful etc.) you are in fellowship. Because you will be doing what he asks you.

He wants us to pray to him every day being apart of our every

moment. And when we believe that his son (Jesus) is our

Lord we all become connected.

It's a parable: The vine of a plant is connected all through the

plant. Every part of that plant is one.

When we are God's and love him with all our heart, soul, mind

and strength then we truly love God.And we will abide there.

Like I said I don't have enough room but God Bless you and I

hope this helps!
Reply:Aren't you thinking in circles?

Jesus' words, no matter how you interpret them, have many meanings. His word, as translated into English, has been ascribed a connotation that Christians and other faiths, believe indicate a solid foundation for their dogma.

However, I am an interpreter and know that translations are not exact. The best an interpreter can do at times is "symbolize", using commonly understood terms for the translation into a language that does not translate EXACTLY.

People would be much happier and wiser if they could understand that the "word" lives inside you. That you "abide" by the "word" inside you. No one else has to hear the "word" the way you do.

Interpreting or interpretation is the intellectual activity that consists of facilitating oral or sign language communication, either simultaneously or consecutively, between two or among three or more speakers who are not speaking, or signing, the same language.

The words interpreting and interpretation both can be used to refer to this activity, the word interpreting is commonly used in the profession and in the translation studies field in avoiding the other meanings of the word interpretation.

How Ironic is that?
Reply:I produce fruit in God,not jesus
Reply:no I'm human, not a plant of any kind, so the only "fruit " i could produce would be a child, and I'm not planning on that for a long while yet.
Reply:I imbibe of the vine all the time. I feel that wine is an important part of the dinner table and my doctor agrees.

Seriously, he recommends that I drink 2 glasses of wine a day for my heart and it's a recommendation that I gladly follow.
Reply:Really then? So when Christians pray and beg for wars to end, why don't they end? When Christians ask for world peace, where's the peace? When they pray for a cure to all disease, etc., where's the cures? I see none so far....and these are from die hard Christians that you have described...so I guess I blew that theory outta the water?
Reply:Yes.
Reply:If that is true, why did protestants break away from the One True Church of Christ:

Reply:I abide in Jesus, not in any group. I have much fruit, but I don't organize them into a group.
Reply:Even GREATER works than Jesus ? (smile)
Reply:If we ask according to the will of God. He will grant our petitions. That is Bible. Also, if we are truly the Christian we should be we will friuts to show for it. That's what it means to me,
