Is it possible to grow Silver Lace Vine(Fleece Vine) on a masonry wall without a lattuce or support structure?

I understand this vine climbs by means of "twining", would it grow up a brick wall easily enough without any lattuce or anything?

How would it grow up the side of a brick wall otherwise?

Thanks for your answers!

No it would not, as you have already said this plant climbs by means of tendrils which it twines around trellis or wires supports. It does not have adventitious roots like ivy and is not self clinging.
Reply:Yes it is self supporting, it does not like full sun so plant it on a north facing wall. It uses a lot of water so plenty of organic matter in the planting pit is required.
