Flash MX | roses / vine growth animation in flash?

I need to create an effect in flash where vines grow around the screen in. The vines will grow back and forth and i very squiggly directions, so a simple mask wont work.



Any ideas or tutorials out there?

You'll have to use a couple of different layers rather than try to control all the animation on one layer.

You can have vines crossing over each other so you can also use seperate short pieces of animation rather than one long one.

You can use paths to create a line for the animation to follow, and fill in behind that.

You need to create more layers to do this. Right click on 'Layer 1' and select 'Create New Layer' or something simular. Repeat until enough is there.



This will make it much easier to animate. Try going to www.flashkit.com for some tutorials that may help.
