Why won't my wysteria vine bloom?

It's about 4 years old. It bloomed the first two years and did not bloom last year nor this year. I feed it plenty and I live in Southwest TX so it gets enough sun. What else can I do for it?

Why won't my wysteria vine bloom?
If you cut it back any you cut it back at the wrong time of year or you cut it back too much.

Reply:Wisteria does not like to be fertilized. If you fertilize, the vine can grow 20 feet in a season but probably will not bloom. Try to keep fertilizer from other planted areas from flowing toward your wisteria this year and next year you are likely to be rewarded with a beautiful display.
Reply:i had the exact same problem ,,and i asked this old fellow and this is what he told me ,,take a shovel to it beat it up bang up the stems and next blooming season it should bloom ..it worked for me ,,,something about the plants need to survive:)
Reply:They are so tempermental already. Then do one thing wrong and you get no blooms.

This site should help.
Reply:Okay. Its usually soil ph levels. Buy a bag of lime and follow the instructions. Its cheap pelletized lime. It will balance it all out for you and it will pop
