What is a really good vine to grow that looks beautiful and is safe not to damage my brick?

I also would like it to not look like crap over winter and to grow fast (actually I really want it to do this)

Clematis Sweet Autumn is a nice one, with white flowers.
Reply:Perhaps Hydrangea petiolaris (Climbing Hydangea) would be worth a look - self clinging to 50ft, very frost hardy. Hope this gives you another choice.

Actinidia kolomikta depending on the site might also be nice.
Reply:I am not sure that there is one that will not damage the mortar between your bricks. English Ivy will look great year round. The rest are pretty much deciduous.
Reply:Silver lace vine, it clings to any surface without damaging it.
Reply:English Ivy does well for me, and I live in Middle Tn
Reply:trumpet vine--hummingbirds love it.
Reply:trachelospermum jasminoides, evergreen, fast, scented white flowers, tolerant of sun or part shade, requires support: trellis or wires
