Who considers the verse that those who do not bear fruit get cut of the vine and tremble?

John 15 says that Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. He says that those that do something worthwhile with their faith and bear fruit he will hurt and prune so they become better at bearing fruit. Then he goes on to say that those that do not bear fruit will be cut of the vine and cast into the fire( which is hell)

Do you ever think you are not fruitful enough? Does this verse motivate you to walk the walk and not just talk the talk?

People do not find they are cut off the vine till they breathe their last and end up in hell, will you be one of them?

Faith without works is dead. If you are dead in faith are you fruitful for God?

Who considers the verse that those who do not bear fruit get cut of the vine and tremble?
when I'm feeling the pain it consoles me to feel that I am being pruned and even if it hurts then it's all for the glory of God, and I know it's worth the trouble. I know what I am and that's a vine that needs a lot of pruning. Sometimes when I pray I ask God to be gentle and protect me, but I know that He has to get it done in His own time, too. And I will bear the fruit that grows from the soil in which He has planted me.

it's serious business, all this talk in the Bible about God being a farmer who plants seeds and harvests good souls. God wants us to know about these things. our salvation will happen in its season.

You are fruitful for God no matter what you do, whether you acknowledge it or not. But we do not know the nature of the fruit we bear. All beings obey the will of God. If you do not acknowledge faith to God then you can lose touch with His guidance and grace.

May God guide you to fruitfulness in your time.
Reply:Maybe your bearing bad fruit right now by stating Hell is a fiery place of torment when it is not, your making God look wicked. God is not going to torture anyone for eternity.God does not compare our works with anyone elses but according to our circumstances, God treats everyone individually on their own merit.
Reply:If ever I wake up and --lo and behold, I'm bearing fruit? I will ask someone "Listen, man, what was in that stuff we smoked?" If there's no explanation I'l probably tremble. It will definitely mean a trip to the emergency room to get pruned or something.
Reply:Wow, talk about milking a metaphor....
Reply:That verse is also talking about discipline. God correcting us. Telling us to knock it off and get right! What an awesome loving Father we have!
Reply:I think it's very clear that we can't just be lazy thinking that we're saved and don't have to do anything. We should want to serve God since we love him.
Reply:1. I do consider the verse

2. I am concerned sometimes that I am not fruitful enough.

3. Yes, this verse motivates me to walk the walk and not just talk the talk.

4. I hope I am not one of the people that is cut off the vine.

5. If a person is dead in faith and unfruitful to God he can still be used by God to do certain things.
Reply:Probably not. But that is is you fully believe in the bible to begin with. IF you want to devote your life to the bible that's your choice. right. but being a divorced man, is that really following the bible as much as you preach about it.

and in the bible it says to respect the political leaders and pray for them, do you do that? Probably not, or maybe you pray for the Iraqi political leaders since you feel so sorry for them.

GOD BLESS YOU
